System Requirements for acc CLI & Adobe Campaign

Review these system requirements to get the most out of acc CLI and developer tools. We follow the Salesforce CLI System Requirements.

Adobe Campaign

The Adobe Campaign server instance must:

• be on version 7 or 8
• be accessible through HTTP/HTTPS
• have either:
  • an Operator with username and password
  • an IMS Access Token created with the Adobe Developer console
  • or an OAuth Server-to-Server credential (JSON downloaded from the Adobe Developer console), from which acc generates and renews the access token

Operating Systems

acc CLI supports the following operating systems.

• Windows: Windows 10, Windows 11
• Mac: macOS 13 or later
• Linux: current Ubuntu LTS or any distribution with Node LTS

The automated tests of acc run on Windows and Ubuntu (latest images), not on macOS.

Code Editor or IDE

You can use any code editor. We recommend that you use Visual Studio Code (VS Code).

Version Control System

You can use any version control system (VCS). We recommend that you use GitHub.

Node.js

acc requires Node.js 20 or later (engines in package.json), and its automated tests run on Node.js 20, 22 and 24. Prefer a version with Active LTS status from nodejs.org/en/download and update it with the Node.js release schedule.
